Out of the Shadows 2025

In Loving Memory of Sav, Ben, and Martin ❤️

Today, we hold space for three beautiful souls — Sav, Ben, and Martin — whose light continues to shine in our hearts, even though they are no longer by our side.

Sav, your smile lit up every room. You danced through life with kindness, humour, and an infectious joy that lifted everyone around you. You were bold, creative, and full of heart — the kind of person who made the world brighter just by being in it.

Ben, your strength, loyalty, and gentle nature left a lasting mark on those lucky enough to know you. A protector, a friend, a son — you carried a quiet warmth that spoke volumes without needing many words. Your love for family and community still echoes in every memory.

Martin, you were a true light in this world — thoughtful, spirited, and endlessly kind. You brought calm to chaos and laughter to the darkest days. The image of you as an angel isn’t just symbolic — it feels real. That’s how many of us see you now: watching over us, wings wide, heart open.

Each of you left a legacy of love, courage, and connection. We miss you deeply, but we feel you in sunsets, in music, in waves of laughter — in all the small, everyday moments that remind us of who you were.

We love you. We honour you. We will never forget you.

Fly high, always. 🕊️❤️

We're walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), we will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

We are walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support Aussies in need.

Please support our walk and make a donation to help those in crisis.

Together we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Our impact so far

We've raised $687 so far to answer 17 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
