Suggested walking path with 4km, 6km and 9km options:
1. Meeting point, BBQ/picnic area
Follow yellow Woodland Loop
2. Optional turn around point (approx. 4km total walk)
Follow green Boundary Loop
3. Halfway turn around point (approx. 6km total walk)
Follow Orange Shoreline Loop
4. Turn around point (approx. 9km total walk)
Return to meeting point for picnic/BBQ lunch 

Walk Details

Hi Team,

On Sunday the 10th of September, we would like everyone to meet at 10.30am for 11am walk start. 

BYO picnic rug/chair, shared picnic food and drinks. Sausage sizzle provided. 

We will share a map of where to meet and the paths we plan to take. We will follow two shorter paths so walkers can choose their length of walk.

We're walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide. 

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

On World Suicide Prevention Day, we will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

We are walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support Aussies in need.

Please support our walk and make a donation to help those in crisis.

Together we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Our impact so far

We've raised $5,173 so far to answer 132 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

I cry everytime I think of him being gone. Jakeb and I had a very intimate and personal history. He was someone who I always cared so deeply about and genuinely loved.
