Lifeline Geelong is walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
On World Suicide Prevention Day, Thursday 10 September, the Lifeline Geelong team will be walking together from our call centre to the Geelong Carousel as part of the Out of the Shadows campaign.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our team to connect, share stories of impact, and reflect on why we chose this work and why we continue to support Lifeline's vision of an Australia free from suicide.
Every day, 9 Australians lose their lives to suicide, while thousands more struggle in crisis. We are walking to honour those lives, raise awareness, and help fund Lifeline's vital suicide prevention and crisis support services.
