Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide, these numbers are rising every single year.
Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.
For World Suicide Prevention Day my friends and I are taking part in the "out of the shadows" walk to honour the lives lost by suicide.
1 in 4 Australians experience mental health struggles and suicidal thoughts with these numbers rising significantly.
In honour of our loved ones, please donate to support those fighting battles so they have access to lifeline call services when necessary.
