We're walking to remember those lost to suicide and to help people in crisis🎗️
In honour of our beautiful friends, family members and all Australians who have all been affected by suicide, we are asking for your support as we walk in remembrance of those who we have lost.
Suicide has a devastating impact on friends and loved ones. As young adults, we view it as our responsibility to address the crippling stigma around mental illness and to increase the availability of crisis support for future generations.
The 10th of September is World Suicide Prevention Day. This is a heartbreaking day for so many of us, as we remember the beautiful people who are no longer with us. This year, my friends and I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking 9km for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.
We are walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support those in need.
