Walks day two to four~

It's been such a crazy last few days completing 8.5, 20, and most recently 10km walks for Lifeline! I'm super proud to say that in the time since I started walking, I've raised $1156 for Lifeline's life saving efforts, able to connect 29 people to Lifeline services. 

I never expected this fundraiser to get as big as it did, nor did I expect to need to increase my goal to $950! Every donation and visit to this cause means the world to me, and I'm proud to be a part of such an important cause. 

I want to thank every single sponsor who's donated to not only my page, but every individual walking for suicide prevention this year. 

I have just over 10km left to walk this year and I'm ready to keep shining a light on this cause, because no one deserves to struggle alone.

Walk day one!

I’m so grateful to say that I’ve reached my first fundraising goal of $585 on the first day of my walk! I finished 5.35km today and I’m feeling super ready to take on the rest of this week :) 

As I reached my goal early into my walk, I’m increasing my fundraising goal to $780, which would connect 20 calls to Lifeline. 

I’m so grateful to everyone who’s donated or sent me words or encouragement and I’m excited to see how the rest of this week goes!

I'm just under one month away from starting my 56km walk for Lifeline, raising money to go towards bringing hope to people in crisis.

I walk in memory of my dear friend Bella, whom I lost almost two years ago after four years of friendship, and there are so many things I wish I could've said to her. 

I walk to remember the radiant girl who used to call me her sunshine, and I can only hope that she knew just how much I loved (and will continue to love) her. 

I set my fundraising goal this year to $585, exceeding what I raised last year by $112, which would connect 15 people in crisis to Lifeline. 

I wish she was still here to see the person I've become, and I wish she could've lived the future that we dreamt of together; I'm walking so that maybe someone else can have the opportunity that I lost.

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide. 

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.
