My first walk with Lifeline :)

Hi friends!

This year for the first time I will be walking with Lifeline to help fundraise money for Lifeline Adelaide!

Lifeline has been a service I have used many times in the past, when life felt like a big black hole. As it is Suicide Awareness Month, I would love to give back and donate to an organisation and cause I care so deeply about.

I have personally struggled with mental health issues for more than half of my life, seen the decades long effect of losing loved ones to suicide, and have had close friends and family struggle with mental illness.

I am grateful we are in a place in society where talking about mental health is encouraged, where support can be found through free services over the phone, in a world where it’s okay to not be okay. The world is changing so that other people don’t have to feel so alone :)
