I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Hey everyone,

I’ve just joined the Out of the Shadows Walk with Lifeline 😊

Quite literally… but it’s something that has been on my mind for some time. Although I can’t join the community walk itself, I’ll be walking 9km and raising money in support of Suicide Prevention Month.

While suicide prevention happens every day of every month, this is a time when we can be a little louder, start important conversations, raise awareness and support a cause that truly saves lives.

A lot of people who know my story are aware that I’ve lost many… far too many people to suicide. It’s been an incredibly debilitating experience. Unfortunately, this is something I’ve experienced from a young age, and I’m still experiencing this type of loss into my adulthood.

I don’t think the grief of losing multiple people this way ever truly leaves you. You learn to grow around it, carry it differently, and adapt whenever you can.

So, I’m asking for your help to raise funds for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. If you’re able to donate, share my fundraiser, or simply start a conversation with someone you care about, it all makes a difference.
