💛 WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY 💛

This World Suicide Prevention Day, I’ll be taking part in a walk to honour and remember those who have lost their lives to suicide, while helping raise awareness and remind others that you are never alone.

My own battles with mental health have driven me to speak up, share my experiences and advocate for greater awareness around mental health and suicide prevention. I know how important it is to have someone listen, to feel supported, and to know that it’s okay to not be okay.

We need to talk more.
We need to listen more.
We need to lean on each other more.
And most importantly, we need to remind people that their life matters.

I’m hoping to raise funds to support Lifeline’s vital services, helping provide support to people experiencing mental health challenges and those who may be struggling in their darkest moments.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.

If you’re in a position to donate, I would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution goes towards an incredible cause and helping ensure people have access to the support they need.

And if you’re not in a position to donate, that is completely okay. Please never feel that you have to contribute financially. A simple share of this cause, a conversation with someone you love, or helping spread awareness is just as appreciated. Every share helps this message reach someone who may need to hear it.

Thank you for supporting me, this cause, and the importance of starting these conversations.

You are never alone. You matter. Your life matters. And there is always someone willing to listen. 💛

I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.

Please support my walk and sponsor me to help those in crisis.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Make an impact

Just $39 will enable Lifeline to answer a call to connect and bring hope to 1 person in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
