We are skateboarding to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.
For the third year, the Foenix family is coming together to skate with deeper intention - to remember those who have ended their lives and to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services to people navigating mental health challenges.
Each year we push further - What started as 77.7km in 2024 grew to 516km in 2025. Now, we’re setting our biggest goal yet: 999km in 2026 over the 4 week lead up to Suicide Prevention Day on the 10 September.
Foenix was founded for the core purpose to build community and amplify mental health - after feeling the weight of depression firsthand, I found these two were the key pillars in my healing journey. This initiative is about using movement to create connection, start conversations and remind people that they’re never alone.
