We walk to honour Molly
We all walk for different reasons.
Some of us have faced mental health challenges ourselves. Some have stood beside someone they love through their struggles. Some have experienced the heartbreak of losing a loved one, while others have witnessed the profound impact that loss leaves behind.
Whatever brings us to this walk, we share a common purpose: to be there for one another and to help be someone's reason to stay.
This World Suicide Prevention Day, we will walk 9km in honour of our dear Molly.
Molly is a daughter, a sister, a best friend, a girlfriend, and forever a deeply loved member of so many lives.
On 19 September, we will walk Woorim Beach to remember and celebrate Molly. Anyone fortunate enough to know her was better for it. She has a spirit that is impossible to forget: her quick wit, her gift for storytelling, her love of music, art and Lego, and her adventurous nature. Whether she was climbing trees, riding her bike through the rain, spending time with her beloved horse Wombat, or chasing down ducks, Molly embraced life wholeheartedly. Above all, she loved fiercely and deeply, cherishing her family and friends with all her heart.
For those who never had the privilege of knowing Molly, we hope her story inspires us all to look after one another, to lead with kindness, and to remind those around us that they matter.
If you're able to donate, please consider supporting Lifeline and the vital work they do to help save lives. If a donation isn't possible, we'd love for you to join us on the walk as we remember, honour and celebrate Molly together.
Forever Fifteen. Forever cherished. Forever loved.
