I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

I am doing this to help raise money for Lifeline to aid those in crisis and to remember my cousin, Ivy, who we very sadly lost last year.

It is important to note that language used during the month of September (such as “prevention” “checking in”) does not always reflect the situations many families find themselves in.

If you have lost someone close to you it does not mean you did not love them enough, check in enough or support them enough.
