In Memory of Aguil Chut De Deng

My dear friend's sister, Aguil Chut De Deng (image), has lost her life by suicide. We're deeply sad she's gone and had gone through her darkest moment alone.
Too many young and talented people in Australia have taken their own lives these days. Every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide. It's worse amongst ethnic minorities or the youth in isolated areas.
Suicide has devastating impact on the mental health of loved ones and friends who're left behind, too. The memory never leaves. They have to learn to live with those memories.
For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.
Please support my walk and sponsor me to help those in crisis.
Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
My impact so far
I've raised $316 so far to answer 8 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
