Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide. 

on the night of the 4th of march 2026 my family got the call my brother jordy had attempted suicide. fast forward to early hours the morning of the 5th of march my brothers time of death was called and it was confirmed that he had lost his battle to mental health. 

our family struggled every second of every day after this event. part of all of our lives went with my brother jordy. 

brayden my last eldest brother struggled tremendously after losing his only brother, his bestfriend and his rock. brayden struggled with mental health his whole life but even more since losing jordy. 

on the 6th of july i got the second phone call, my brother was found after an overdose. which led to him also losing his battle to mental health on the 7th of july. 

losing both my brothers in a short amount of time has affected me in ways i never knew were possible. it has changed my whole families life and has opened our eyes to the impact mental health has on people and about the stigma of men who struggle. 

on september 10th myself and my family will be raising money and walking 9km for mental health, every donation will help people battling mental health recieve the help they deserve and need.
