Our Message
Join Us for a Walk of Remembrance and Hope – World Suicide Prevention Day
On Sunday, 14th September, Lifeline Northern Beaches warmly invites you to come together as a community to honour and remember those we’ve lost to suicide. Every day in Australia, we lose 9 lives to suicide.
This special commemorative walk begins at 8am Manly Lagoon Reserve, Queenscliff, guiding us along the beautiful coastline to Manly and Shelly Beach, returning to Queenscliff at your own pace.
As we walk, there will be gentle moments to pause, reflect, and connect at dedicated remembrance points. Whether you choose to walk the full route or join us for part of the journey, your presence is deeply valued.
This walk is a gentle step forward—toward healing, remembrance, and hope.

Walk Details
Date: Sunday 14th September
Start Time: 8am
Location: Manly Lagoon Reserve, Queenscliff (near the playground)
Getting There:
· Parking: Free 4-hour beachfront parking for Northern Beaches Council sticker holders, plus side streets and Council car parks (please check signage).
· Public Transport: Regular buses service the area from across the Northern Beaches and beyond.
