We're walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
Join us for the Out of the Shadows Walk to remember those we've lost to suicide, honour the people who matter
to us, and raise awareness of the importance of connection, hope and
help-seeking.
Together we walk in memory, in support and in hope, helping to ensure that no
one has to face their darkest moments alone.
💙 Cronulla Community Walk - 9km

Start and Finish: Next Door Café, 4/6 Kingsway, Cronulla
Join Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland for a scenic coastal walk around the
Cronulla peninsula. Taking in surf beaches, ocean pools, rocky headlands and
sheltered bays, this walk offers an opportunity to slow down, connect with
others and reflect in a beautiful local setting. Stay afterwards for a coffee
and conversation at Next Door Café.

Start and Finish: Archibald Fountain, Hyde Park
Prefer an early
morning walk on World Suicide Prevention Day? Join us in the Sydney CBD as we walk through Hyde Park, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, The Domain and the Royal Botanic Garden, coming together to remember, reflect and raise awareness for suicide prevention. You're welcome to join whichever walk works best for you.
The 9km distance represents the nine Australians who lose their lives to suicide every day, making each step a powerful act of remembrance, awareness and hope.
Our impact so far
We've raised $3,506 so far to answer 89 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
