We're walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Join us for the Out of the Shadows Walk to remember those we've lost to suicide, honour the people who matter to us, and raise awareness of the importance of connection, hope and help-seeking.

Together we walk in memory, in support and in hope, helping to ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Join Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland for a scenic coastal walk around the Cronulla peninsula. Taking in surf beaches, ocean pools, rocky headlands and sheltered bays, this walk offers an opportunity to slow down, connect with others and reflect in a beautiful local setting. Stay afterwards for a coffee and conversation at Next Door Café.

Start and Finish: Archibald Fountain, Hyde Park

Join Lifeline Sydney & Sutherland in the heart of Sydney as the city comes to life on World Suicide Prevention Day. Beginning at the iconic Archibald Fountain, we'll walk through Hyde Park, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo, The Domain and the Royal Botanic Garden, taking time to reflect, connect and stand together in support of suicide prevention.

Whether you join us for one stage or the full 9 km journey, you'll be walking alongside others who believe in the power of compassion, connection and community.

The 9 km distance represents the nine Australians who lose their lives to suicide every day, making each step a powerful act of remembrance, awareness and hope.
