What does $39 mean to you?

What does $39 mean to you?

For someone experiencing their darkest moment, $39 could mean the beginning of a new start! It could mean access to support, someone to talk to, and a reminder that “suicide is my only option” doesn’t have to be the end of their story!

Every year, I choose a charity to support and participate in fundraising to help raise crucial funds for a cause that matters to me.

❤️ This year, I’m taking a stand for suicide prevention ❤️

This cause is incredibly special to me…

Not many people know this, but in 2022, I reached a point where I attempted to take my own life.

After three years of intense trauma recovery, I am finally in a place where I no longer feel like I need to die to be happy.

I am incredibly fortunate to have private health insurance and the ability to access private healthcare. But I know that not everyone has those same resources. For some people, finding affordable and accessible mental health support can feel impossible — and when someone is already struggling to survive, that lack of support can make an unbearable situation feel like there is no other choice.

Today, I’m taking a stand to say: YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE! ❤️

You can THRIVE! EXPLORE! LOVE! CREATE! GET EXCITED! CRAVE! ENYOY! TRAVEL! DREAM! LIVE!

There is still so much life waiting for you ❤️

So, on 10 September 2026 — World Suicide Prevention Day — I am pledging to walk 100km in 10 days to help raise funds for Lifeline and support people who are struggling to see a way forward.

“I’m walking to ensure no one has to face their darkest moments alone” ❤️

I’m asking YOU to stand alongside me!

If you, a friend, a family member, or someone you love has struggled with mental illness or suicidal thoughts, please consider donating, sharing this post, or simply helping me spread the message.

Because suicide IS preventable!

And while we can’t change every circumstance someone is facing, we can help make sure they have somewhere to turn before they reach the point of believing there is no other option.

$39 could help provide someone with the support they desperately need.

If you can, please help me give someone a reason to hold on for another day.

Wouldn’t you want to be the reason someone LIVES? ❤️

I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.

Please support my walk and sponsor me to help those in crisis.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

My impact so far

I've raised $83 so far to answer 2 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
