I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Hey everyone,

Thank you for supporting my 4th annual Out of the Shadows walk.

Each year, over 3000 people in Australia complete suicide, and in 2023 my mum was one of those. In honour of her and everyone else affected by suicide, I will be walking 9km on the weekend of World Suicide Prevention Day (September the 10th) - that's 1km for every person that loses their life each day.

For those that are in Hobart, we will be walking 9km on the morning of Saturday September 12th - time and location TBD. For those in Melbourne and beyond, I would love for you to walk in solidarity at the same time!

I have been blessed by everyone's generosity these last 3 years to have raised over $8,000 towards this worthy cause. That's more than 200 calls to Lifeline funded, and potentially that number of lives saved.

To be honest, as amazing as that is, I think that taking a couple of hours out of a busy weekend to get outside and chat about mental health is worth so much more than that.

I would love to see as many of you as possible walking with me on the day, and if you have something to spare towards my fundraiser as well, I would be extremely grateful.
