I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Hello friends 💗

I am participating in Lifeline’s Out of the Shadows walk this year for World Suicide Prevention Day 🫀

On the 12th of September, I will be walking 9kms to recognise the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

In 2015 my sister became part of this statistic; and I have learnt the importance in talking openly about mental health and suicide, this is my way in continuing to do so. 🦋

All money raised goes to Lifeline, any donations, support or encouragement is appreciated 💗

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.
