Out of the shadows walk

Thank you for your support for this amazing cause. I have completed 13km walk from Sydney Opera House to Taronga Zoo.

The longest and hardest walk I have completed in such a long time, but you made it all possible, through your donations. We raised a whopping $1,493.00, that’s 38 calls that can be answered.

That will go to the team’s total of over $10,800. These funds will be directed to LIFELINE Central West. This is where our little Beau was lost. A pain that will never leave us.

This is not the end of my task, but I will continue support to my Daughter and her family who those who have suffered unimaginable loss. This journey is what Jade and her family have turned from Pain to Power.

Thanks again to our supporters, family and friends: you are all legends.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported my 9km walk in Out of the Shadows for the 9 Australians who die by suicide every day. I completed 13km just to push myself. Past that limit that I thought I could go to. The inspiration is our great team Leader Jade and Adam and the whole family and friends that showed up and no questions asked did the challenge. I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.
