Join us for a Surf Coast Community Walk

Walk: Round trip from JJSLC to Bells Beach and back
Surf Coast Safe Space invites you to join us for a walk along the Surf Coast Walk from Jan Juc Surf Life Saving Club to Bells Beach and back on the morning of September 12, 2026.
You can walk to remember a loved one, as a personal tribute for a friend or family member, or to show your support for Australians experiencing emotional distress or mental illness. Your participation will signify your commitment to raising awareness, eliminating stigma, and taking action to prevent further loss of life through suicide.
Participation is free, but we kindly ask that you register for our Out of the Shadows team so we can keep in touch about changes to the walk and cater accordingly.
Looking to fundraise as part of your commitment to make a difference? All proceeds will go towards Lifeline Geelong, supporting crisis support and
suicide prevention services in the Surf Coast community.
Walk with us to raise awareness and support for suicide and suicide prevention, so together we can move out of the shadows and into the light towards an Australia free of suicide.

We've raised $1,933 so far to answer 49 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
