I’m walking to honor the lives we've lost and to bring hope and support to those who are struggling.
Every year in Australia, more than 65,000 people attempt to take their own life, and over 3,000 lives are tragically lost. Behind each of those numbers are families, friends, and loved ones forever changed.
This cause is very close to my heart. Suicide has touched my life too many times, and I’ve seen the devastating impact it leaves behind. I also know how heavy and isolating it can feel when you’re going through it — like no one could possibly understand. But the truth is, you are not alone. Speaking up, reaching out, and letting someone in can make all the difference.
That’s why services like Lifeline are so vital. Every year, Lifeline answers over one million calls, texts, and chats from people in crisis — offering hope, connection, and support in the darkest moments.
On World Suicide Prevention Day (September 10), I’ll be taking part in the Out of the Shadows Walk to honour the nine Australians we lose to suicide every single day, and to stand in solidarity with those still fighting through.
I’m walking to raise funds so Lifeline can continue providing life-saving crisis support and suicide prevention services for Australians in need.
By sponsoring my walk, you’ll be helping ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
Together, we can break the silence, bring hope, and remind people everywhere: you are never alone.
My impact so far
I've raised $166 so far to answer 4 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
