We’ve hit another goal! The countdown to the day starts now!

The day of our walk is closing in, not much longer until Ivy and I take to the streets of the Gold Coast and walk for change! 

When we started this journey, we hoped to make even a small impact. Seeing this total today feels overwhelming in the best way possible. Because of you, 38 people will have their calls to Lifeline answered. That’s 38 lives touched, 38 moments of hope, and 38 reminders that no one has to face the darkness alone.

Wow, we are absolutely blown away.

The support we’ve received in just 24 hours has been nothing short of incredible. We can’t thank you enough for the joy, love, and hope you’ve brought us. Knowing that more lives will be touched and saved through Lifeline’s incredible work means more than words can express.

This milestone is so much more than just a number to us.

So many of us have suffered in silence, scared of being judged, told to “toughen up,” or made to feel like we had to go through it alone. But Lifeline is changing that. They’re showing people that even in the darkest moments, there is still hope.

Mental health has shaped both of our lives in ways we can’t fully explain. There were moments we didn’t know how we’d keep going. Times when the pain screamed louder than any voice of reason. When reaching out felt terrifying, and silence felt safer than being honest about how much we were hurting.

We’re Walking for the Ones Still in the Dark — Ivy & Asha

We’ve both been in dark places. The kind that make you feel like there’s no way out. The kind where getting out of bed feels impossible. The kind where you question if the world would be better without you in it.

We’ve been there.

And somehow by determination, by resilience, by holding on just a little longer,  we’re still here.

But not everyone gets that second chance.

Too many people are still suffering in silence. Too many are told to “tough it out,” or are left waiting months for help that should’ve come yesterday. And far too many never get the chance to see how much brighter life can become.

That’s why we’re walking in Out of the Shadows.

For the ones we’ve lost. For the ones who feel invisible. For the ones still holding on by a thread.

And for the ones who don’t believe they’ll ever feel okay again. we are living proof that it can get better. You can survive. You can heal. You can start again.

But we need more than words, we need change.

Right now, there are still huge, heartbreaking gaps in mental health care. People are being turned away, dismissed, or left to fight battles no one sees. And it’s not good enough.
