Why the tutu?
Because you clicked on it.
That's the whole strategy. Blokes will turn up for something ridiculous long before they'll turn up for something sad, and turning up is most of the battle.
We're a group of dads from the Sunshine Coast. Between us we've been through money troubles, loss of loved ones, loneliness, and the kind of 3am awakened silence in the dark you don't tell anyone about. We all made it back, and not one of us did it alone.
On 10 September, World Suicide Prevention Day, we're walking 9km. One kilometre for each of the nine Australians lost to suicide every day. Around 75% of those people are men.
Come in a tutu. Come in whatever. Just come, or chip in for the ones who answer the phone.
$39 answers one call to Lifeline. Lifeline 13 11 14, 24 hours, 7 days.
Our impact so far
We've raised $543 so far to answer 13 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
