In September, my friend Josephine and I are taking part in the Out of the Shadows 9km walk to raise money for Lifeline and suicide prevention.

I’ve had my own battles with mental health, and I know how dark and overwhelming things can get. I know what it’s like to struggle just to get through the day, and how important it can be to have someone there when you’re not okay.

I’m still here, and I know firsthand how much having support can matter when you’re struggling. ❤️

That’s why this cause means so much to me. If even one person who’s struggling can get the support they need because of what we raise, it’s worth it.
