World Suicide Prevention Day Community Walk in Tamworth

Lifeline New England North West looks forward to welcoming the community to our Nine Laps for Nine Lives - World Suicide Prevention Day Walk on Sunday 10th September in Tamworth. 

If you would like to join our walk you can visit our website newengland.lifeline.org.au , alternatively you can sign up to walk 9km at your own time and place in recognition of the 9 lives lost to suicide everyday in Australia.

Come and join us for the Nine Laps for Nine Lives walk, laying flowers on field for those lost to suicide and a community BBQ Breakfast.

We appreciate any fundraising effort you choose and want you to know that the money you raise helps more people to access support that can be life -saving.

TIME: 8:30AM

LOCATION: Number One Oval, Kable Ave Tamworth NSW

INFORMATION: Come and join us to remember those lost to suicide and to gather as a community to prevent more loss.

Walk nine laps of the oval for the nine lives lost to suicide in Australia every day. Lay some flowers on the field, join us for a BBQ breakfast after the event.

A huge THANK YOU for our team of staff, participants and friends walking with Disability Consulting Support (DCS) in Out of the Shadows Walk for World Suicide Prevention Day on Sunday. ☀️ Together, our team walked 208km to remember those lost to suicide and help save lives. DCS raised an incredible $5558.00 to answer 143 calls to support will connect and bring hope to people in crisis. It was amazing to see so many people taking part across Australia as part of our community to show their support and remember family, friends and loved ones. 💙
