We're walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
Every year, over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life, and more than 3,000 lives are lost to suicide. Behind each number are families, friends, and communities forever changed.
Lifeline answers over 1 million calls for help each year from people in crisis. Each call can be the difference between despair and hope.
On World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), we will be walking in Out of the Shadows to remember the 9 lives lost to suicide every day, and to honor the strength of those who continue to hold on.
As RumpunSA, we believe no one should have to struggle alone. Our values of connection, presence, and belonging guide us in standing together for one another.
Please consider supporting our walk. Together, we can help ensure that no one faces their darkest moments without support, and that hope remains within reach.
Our impact so far
We've raised $134 so far to answer 3 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
