Save the date!!!

On the 21st of September we will be meeting at 9am at PCYC Sorell (the big, grey shed: turn right as you enter Pembroke Park and follow the gravel road until you see the big, grey shed).

We will walk together to beautiful Penna Beach to allow time, space, and pay tribute to those who experience suicidal crisis, who have died by suicide and help other Australians in suicidal crisis come out of the shadows and into the light of community kindness, care and belonging.

We will re-trace our steps to complete our Out of the Shadows walk at PCYC Sorell where you are invited to enjoy a free BBQ and on-site coffee van to nourish, re-fuel and celebrate our connection as a community.

Members of the beautiful Sorell community will walk 9kms for Lifeline's 'Out of the Shadows Walk' on September 21st 2025. Join Us!

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide. 

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For suicide prevention, we will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

We are walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support Aussies in need.

Please support our walk and make a donation to help those in crisis.

Together we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

Our impact so far

We've raised $5,769 so far to answer 147 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
