I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Hi, my name is Zoe. I am 10 years old. I am a Girl Guide like many others and I am here to support another Guide who lost her big brother Jai, to suicide. Jai’s loss was tragic for everyone but most of all for his brothers and little sister. Guides always stick together and what is important to one person is important to another. Here we sit today remembering the people we have lost. It might not be Jai for you but it might be someone just as import as Jai is to his family. You might not have lost anyone but if you can help save someone’s life, it would be really important for their family and community. Even a small donation can make a difference. Thank you for supporting my walk to decrease the statistic of 9 lives lost in one day every day of the year to suicide in Australia. Money raised helps Lifeline reduce that number. Come join me walk 9 km on 19th September at Limestone Park. If you can’t walk the full 9 km with me, ask eight other people to join you for a 1 km walk. Together, the nine of you will each represent one of the nine lives lost to suicide in Australia every day.

My impact so far

I've raised $44 so far to answer 1 call for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
