I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
As most of you know, I tragically lost my brother Steve to suicide 9 years ago in 2015. It has taken a huge toll on my family, one which we never want any other family to ever experience.
Mental health is a crisis in Australia. I want to raise awareness and money to help people who are struggling to get the support they need. No one should ever be alone in their darkest moments.
I will be walking 9km for World Suicide Prevention day (10th September) to remember my brother, the 9 years we have lost with him and also the 9 lives lost to suicide every day in Australia. Any donation you could make would mean the world to me ❤️
Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.
