WALK UPDATE 🥾🔥

Due to me getting a little confused with the route — including just how bloody big Litchfield National Park actually is 😂 — the distance has gone up from 96 km to 106 km!

Instead of leaving from Darwin, I’ll now be starting from Noonamah Tourist Park on Friday morning.

For those wondering, 106 km is essentially an ultramarathon distance. Obviously, an ultramarathon is normally completed somewhere around 16–24 (or even 28) hours.

I’ll be aiming to complete this one in 48 hours… although knowing me, it could very well drag into the third day. 😂

Happy days!

Thank you so much for all the support. I genuinely appreciate it more than you know. ❤️

Info!

92KM FOR THE BOYS 🖤🚶‍♂️🌴

On Friday, September 11th, I’ll be setting off on what is probably one of the more cooked ideas I’ve had — walking from Palmerston, Darwin, all the way to Litchfield National Park. 😂🥵

Originally, I planned on walking around 67km over a week, but because apparently I don’t know how to do things normally, I’ve decided to attempt 92km in just 1–2 days. 🤦‍♂️😂

For anyone who doesn’t know, I’ve struggled with my mental health for around 10 years. Along the way, I’ve lost countless close friends, mates and family, and I know far too many people who have struggled themselves. 🖤

So this walk is for the boys, for the people we’ve lost, and for anyone currently doing it tough. 🫶

And before anyone asks — yes, I’ve been told not to do it. 😂

I’ve been warned about the Northern Territory heat, humidity, distance and conditions, especially compared with what I’m used to in Perth. Walking 92km through the Top End is no easy stroll. During September, the days can be brutally hot, the humidity can make the heat feel even more exhausting, and there’s very little room for error when you’re spending hours on your feet, carrying everything you need and trying to keep moving. ☀️🥵💦

Add in the NT sun, long stretches of road, limited shade, dehydration risk and the sheer distance, and it’s definitely going to be a bloody hectic challenge.

Apparently my fitness has also been questioned… but my Rolls-Royce runs better than most, so f* it — it’s for the boys.** 😂🤙

I’ve set the donation goal higher than last year because this challenge is a bloody big one. 💪

🎯 THE GOAL: $5,000+

And if we smash $5,000, there’s another little incentive…

✂️ THE MULLET IS COMING OFF. 😂💀

Every single donation goes directly to Lifeline. I don’t handle the money, I don’t receive any of it and I won’t see a cent of the donations. ❤️

I’ll be documenting the journey from start to finish — the walking, the good moments, the brutal moments, the beautiful NT scenery, where I camp, the people I meet and everything that happens along the way. 📸🌅⛺️

Hopefully we can raise some serious money, have a laugh along the way and most importantly, remind people that you’re never alone in the fight. 🖤

So please follow along, share the journey, donate if you can and help me get this thing across the line.

92KM. Darwin → Litchfield. 1–2 DAYS.

FOR THE BOYS. 🖤

I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.

Please support my walk and sponsor me to help those in crisis.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

My impact so far

I've raised $1,150 so far to answer 29 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
