What started as a 63km challenge for the 63 Australians we lose to suicide every week has turned into so much more. I finished my walk today at 81km - every step for my Dad, and for the lives touched by suicide.


I honestly never imagined the outpouring of love, support, and generosity I would receive. It’s been overwhelming and deeply moving, and I can’t thank you all enough.


This cause is close to my heart, and knowing that together we’ve helped Lifeline be there for 59 people in their darkest moment means more than I can put into words. For every donation, every message, for walking with me I’m so incredibly grateful.

World Suicide Prevention Day 💛

Today I joined over 16,000 Australians walking today to remember those lost to suicide. I walked in memory of my Dad, Eddie, and for everyone affected by suicide. The love and support I’ve received so far has been so overwhelming. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💙

Overwhelmed with gratitude 💛

I am honestly not okay right now. I never expected to even reach my goal, let alone almost double it within a couple of hours. Wtf 😭❤️

Sharing my grief and asking for support for such an important cause was terrifying. Mental health and suicide are still so stigmatised, and opening up like this has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

But the love, generosity, and support I’ve received from friends, family, coworkers, and strangers has left me speechless. Every conversation and every donation helps break down the stigma around mental health, and helps Lifeline be there for someone in their darkest moment.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for helping me honour my Dad 💛 and for proving that kindness and care truly make a difference.

On the 10th of September, World Suicide Prevention Day, I'll begin my 63km walk. Every step will carry the love and support you’ve shown me.

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide. 

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.
