My Walk

My Progress

My Target

I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

πŸ’š I AM COMPLETELY SPEECHLESS πŸ’š

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. The amount of love, support and generosity I have received has completely blown me away. πŸ₯Ή

I originally set myself a goal of $500, and thanks to all of you, I reached it. I then raised my goal to $750, never imagining for a second that I would reach that too… and now I’ve officially gone OVER $750! πŸ˜πŸ’š

I am beyond grateful to every single person who has donated, shared my posts, supported me, encouraged me or simply taken the time to read my story. Every single contribution, no matter how big or small, means more to me than you could ever know.

Suicide awareness and prevention is something incredibly close to my heart. I have seen the devastating impact suicide can have, and I’ve lost people I love far too soon. No one should ever feel like they have to suffer in silence or face their darkest moments alone.

Doing this walk in memory of Amy means so much to me. πŸ’š I know she would be absolutely blown away by the incredible support and generosity everyone has shown.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart, I am so incredibly grateful. πŸ₯ΉπŸ’š

And honestly… I’m not ready to stop yet! Let’s see how much more we can raise $850 ? πŸ€” and how many more people we can reach with the message that you are never alone. πŸ¦‹πŸ’š

#OutOfTheShadows #SuicideAwareness #SuicidePrevention #MentalHealthAwareness #ForAmy #NoOneShouldSufferAloneTragically,Β

every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.Β

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.

Please support my walk and sponsor me to help those in crisis.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

My impact so far

I've raised $1,112 so far to answer 28 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.

Only met Amy the one time, but she possessed a larger then life personality and would help out anyone in a similar situation, so hopefully this donation can help someone suffering in silence.
