Walk with Us. Shine a Light. Save Lives.

This September, Lifeline Bondi invites you to take part in the Out of the Shadows Walk 2025—a powerful community event held in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day.

Every day in Australia, we lose 9 lives to suicide. To honour them, we walk 9 kilometres—one for each life lost. While World Suicide Prevention Day is officially on September 10, you’re encouraged to walk anytime, anywhere that works for you.

Join a movement of hope, remembrance, and action. Whether you walk alone, with friends, or as part of a team, you’ll be standing with a community united in the fight to prevent suicide.

Your steps—and your support—can save lives. Every dollar you raise helps Lifeline provide critical, life-saving support to those in crisis. And when you raise $39 or more, you’ll receive a free Out of the Shadows t-shirt to wear proudly as a symbol of your advocacy.

Together, we can bring suicide out of the shadows and into the light.

To help Lifeline Bondi train more crisis supporters to answer calls to 13 11 14, so no one has to face their toughest moments alone. Bondi Beach Club is partnering with Lifeline Bondi to give back to those who choose to fundraise through their participation in this event.

You can walk the 9km at your own pace, place or time and if you choose to fundraise, here are some special rewards for you:

** Fundraise $78 by 15th September - and receive your event t-shirt, PLUS a bonus speciality designed pin, and breakfast voucher at Bondi Beach Club (valued up to $15), *Special offer for those registered for Lifeline Bondi, T&CS apply.
