Walking Out of the Shadows in Memory of My Close Friend🕊️
Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.
On September 4, I’ll be taking part in Out of the Shadows for Lifeline, walking in memory of my beautiful best friend who we sadly lost to suicide.
Losing someone so close to me has shown me how deeply suicide affects not only the person struggling, but everyone who loves them. I’m walking to honour their memory, raise awareness and help support people who may be going through their own darkest moments.
I’m raising funds for Lifeline to help provide crisis support and suicide prevention services to Australians in need.
My impact so far
I've raised $1,806 so far to answer 46 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
