Out of the Shadows 2023

I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

You sent

On World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I am taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking 18km for the 9 Australians lost to suicide every day. That's 2km for every person.  Double what I did last year.

Sadly, over 3,000 Australians lose their lives to suicide every year. These people are our family, friends and loved ones.

I will be walking to remember Mark Finlayson. Mark was a loving husband and doting father. Mark was a mate.

My goal is to raise funds to support Lifeline's suicide prevention services to save lives. If at all possible, donations can be made through my fundraising page. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.

In raising money for Lifeline, the hope is to ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

It's ok not to be ok.

My impact so far

I've raised $935 so far to answer 23 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
