We're walking to raise awareness about the 9 Australian lives lost to suicide everyday
As two young Australians we are deeply concerned about the fact that suicide is the LEADING cause of death for 1 in 3 people aged 15-24 and more than 1 in 5 people aged 24-44.
This is not just a statistic - every number is a friend, child, parent, neighbour, co-worker, or a loved one.
We hope to make people more aware of this silent crisis in our community, so that we can better care for people who are most at risk.
Through this walk, we want to let you know that you are not alone - you matter in this world to us.
