I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

My beautiful best friend Caitlin was unfortunately apart of the 3000 in 2022.

In 2024 i held this fundraiser for the first time, and with the support of many amazing people we raised over $500 for suicide prevention month!!

I've come back this year to do it again to help more in need of support and to keep the memory of Caitlin alive.

I never want to forget Caitlin or the life she lived. If keeping her memory alive can help someone who is struggling feel less alone, or help save someone from experiencing the loss and pain that those around Caitlin have felt, then that means everything to me.

I cant change what happened to Caitlin, but i can choose to do something with the love and greif i carry for her. every single donation, big or small helps support suicide prevention and make a difference in somones life.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.
