We're walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
This year marks our third consecutive year supporting Out of the Shadows and Lifeline's mission to help prevent suicide and provide hope to those in crisis.
Every year, more than 65,000 Australians attempt suicide, and over 3,000 lives are tragically lost. Lifeline responds to more than one million calls, texts and online contacts each year from people reaching out during their darkest moments.
Behind every statistic is a person, a family and a community whose lives are changed forever.
On World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September), we'll once again be taking part in Out of the Shadows, walking in honour of the nine Australians who lose their lives to suicide every day.
Supporting this cause for the past three years has reinforced just how important it is to continue raising awareness, encouraging conversations and ensuring support is available for those who need it most.
