I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Once again, I am proudly participating in the Lifeline "Out of the Shadows Walk", walking 63 km to honor the average 9 Australians lost to suicide every day. This year, I am excited to partner with my wonderful friend, Stephanie Smith. ♥️

It’s a sobering and heartbreaking fact that suicide is the leading cause of death in Australia for individuals aged 14 to 45, impacting countless lives and communities. 💔

Each year, we tragically lose over 3,000 Australians—real people with dreams, families, and stories that deserve to be heard and continue. Having felt the deep grief of losing multiple loved ones to suicide, witnessing the struggles of those around me and watching people I care about lose someone, I understand the weight of this reality through my own personal mental health battles. Yet, in this shared experience, we find the power to create change and support one another.

The mission is clear: to raise funds for Lifeline’s essential suicide prevention and support services, which save lives and offer hope. This year, our journey begins at Lysterfield Lake. On Wednesday, September 10th, I will be walking a solo 18 km, and on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, Steph and I will rise early, equipped with headlamps and unwavering determination, to conquer the final 45 km in a single day. Together, we can ensure that no one faces their darkest moments alone and that hope shines brightly even in the toughest times.
