We all will keep walking

Every morning I wake up and take a silent pledge: “Today, I’ll keep walking.”

For me, walking isn’t just a physical act—it’s a lifeline. Living with endometriosis and adenomyosis means every day starts as a battle. Pain is not an occasional visitor; it’s the background noise to my life. Some days it whispers, some days it roars—but either way, I have to rise, get dressed, and put one foot in front of the other.

But this walk isn’t just for me. It’s for my friends who fight quiet wars of their own—those living with mental illness, who know too well the weight of invisible struggles. Their battles may not show up on scans or blood tests, but they are no less real, no less exhausting.

When our bodies or minds feel like prisons, walking becomes freedom. It’s a reminder that we’re still here, still choosing to move forward even when every step feels heavy.

Why I Walk

  • I walk for my own survival.
  • I walk for the women whose pain has been dismissed.
  • I walk for my friends who carry storms inside their minds.
  • I walk to prove that resilience doesn’t always look like victory—sometimes it’s just refusing to give up.

The Pledge

Each step is a promise:

  • To honor the battles we face quietly.
  • To create space where stories of pain and healing can exist side by side.
  • To remind myself and others that it’s okay to move at our own pace.

Because no matter how small the step, it’s still forward.

✨ If you’re reading this and carrying your own fight—physical or mental—consider this your invitation to walk with me. Not literally, but in spirit. To pledge to yourself that you’ll keep going, even if today it’s only one step. You’re not alone on this path.

I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.

Please support my walk and sponsor me to help those in crisis.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

My impact so far

I've raised $42 so far to answer 1 call for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
