I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.
Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.
Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.
For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.
I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.

I’ve tried writing a message here numerous times but nothing seems to fit, so instead I’ll share a fond memory of a camping trip to Jurien bay where we spent 3 days just exploring nearby beaches and bushland. It was an extremely relaxing trip where we shared many conversations about life and our future as young fresh 20 year olds at the time. To me this sums up Tom well, he was a character that was deeply curious and loved to explore. I wish you all the best Annie.

So very sorry to hear this news. I had the pleasure of meeting Tom at maths summer school. We shared some lovely conversations and long bike rides together as well as dancing through the night. I remember how friendly and kind he was.
