I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis
In 2022, we lost our beautiful friend Eloise to suicide — a loss that shook our world and left a hole in our hearts that will never fully heal. Eloise was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen, valued, and loved. She had a spark that could light up even the darkest day, and her kindness, humour, and warmth stay with us always.
On the 6th of September, we’ll be walking 15km in Lifeline’s Out of the Shadows Walk — not only to remember Eloise, but to honour the memory of the 9 Australians lost to suicide every single day.
We’re walking for her, and for everyone who has felt the heavy weight of hopelessness. We’re walking to raise awareness, to break the silence, and to help make sure no one ever feels they have to face their darkest moments alone.
Over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own lives each year. Lifeline receives over 1 million calls, texts, and chats annually from people in crisis — and they need our support to keep answering those calls.
Please consider sponsoring our walk. Your donation could help save a life.
Or you are more than welcome to join us on our walk!
Together, we can honour Eloise’s memory in the most meaningful way possible — by helping others find the support, hope, and connection they need to stay.
My impact so far
I've raised $42 so far to answer 1 call for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
