Walking Out of the Shadows

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

This year, I’m taking part in Out of the Shadows 2025—a walk to honour those we’ve lost to mental health struggles and suicide, and to support the incredible work of Lifeline.

For me, it’s personal. I’m walking for someone I love, and for every family who has felt the heartbreak of losing someone too soon. Each step is a quiet tribute, a way to remember, and a promise to keep the conversation going so fewer people have to walk this same path.

Lifeline answers over a million calls for help each year, providing hope when it’s needed most. Every donation—big or small—helps ensure that no one has to face their darkest moment alone.
