My Target

63km

First 9klm!!

I did it 🙌🏼 on Friday I was able to reach my daily goal of 9klms…. I took a total of 17,033 steps!!!

Super proud to have worked up to this… 5 weeks ago I was averaging 1,050 steps a day 😂 now to maintain the increase (not 9klm every day though) until next month when I start my OUT OF THE SHADOWS walk, then hopefully I’ll be able to reach the 9klm every day for a week 💪🏼 🏃‍♀️ to represent the 9 lives we lose to suicide every day. 💙

Stepping up 💪🏼

I’m proud to say I’ve increased my daily step count and distance walked daily in preparation for completing the 63klm OUT OF THE SHADOWS walk next month

I was walking on average 1klm a day (embarrassing I know 🙈) I’m now averaging 4klm a day and will continue to increase!!

Please support me in my journey to successful complete the required 9klms a day I need to do next month 🏃‍♀️

Hello

💙 friends and family 🤗 you may not have seen my below post on Friday but I’ve decided to participate in lifelines OUT OF SHADOWS walk this year.

I WILL walk 63km over 7 days to remember those lost to suicide and help save lives… why 63klm? We lose 63 loved ones a WEEK to suicide, that’s 9 lives lost a day!! I’m going to push myself and walk 9klm a day (which is huge for me 🙈) because raising awareness and being able to support this cause after losing someone I loved dearly to suicide is very important to me and I hope with all my heart that you will support me and this cause… every single donation helps 💙

From the 4th September ending on the 10th September World Suicide Prevention Day I will post daily updates on my fundraising page to track my journey… until then I’m going to get my steps up in preparation 💪🏼

I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.

Please support my walk and sponsor me to help those in crisis.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

My impact so far

I've raised $1,374 so far to answer 35 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
