I'm running/walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Six months ago, I lost my beautiful dad to suicide at the age of 66. My heart has been forever changed, and every day I carry both the pain of his loss and the love he left behind.

On World Suicide Prevention month, I will be running/walking 66 km—one kilometre for every year of his life—to honour his memory and to shine a light on the importance of mental health and suicide prevention.

I’m doing this walk not only for my dad, but for every family who has faced this heartbreak, and for every person who might still be silently struggling. No one should feel alone in their darkest moments. 💛
