I'm walking to remember there's always hope

I am walking for me.

I was reading some of the posts on the tribute wall that lifeline has. The tributes from loved ones that seem to be grateful to have somewhere to pour their hearts out about the ones they've lost. Knowing that they are in a safe forum that no one here will judge. And in a way, that alone is sad. People still judge the families of those touched by suicide. Don't deny it. When someone says the word suicide what is your reaction?

I know mine, and I'd be willing to share it with anyone, even a room filled with families that have lost a loved one to suicide. Would you?

Everyday I walk in and out of the shadows. In a way it's almost as if I've learnt to dance. There have been days I forgot the steps, and, well, I am hopeful I don't, but not too naive to think that I won't, need lifeline again.

My impact so far

I've raised $408 so far to answer 10 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.
