Let’s do this together 💙💙

Tomorrow, I walk with purpose. It will be my longest walk of the week—because tomorrow carries the deepest meaning. (Miss you Theo 💙)

World Suicide Prevention Day matters. We need to raise awareness, and we need to raise funds. Lives depend on it. My husband is living proof—he’s still here because of the support and resources that were available when we nearly lost him. Twice.

So let’s walk.
Let’s walk for those we’ve lost.
Let’s walk for those still fighting.
Let’s walk so no one has to face their darkest moments alone.
Across the country, let’s turn grief into action so no one has to go through the pain of losing more loved ones. We walk together.💙

Let’s Break the Silence

Mental health is such a taboo topic and the silence can be suffocating. We’re taught to mask our pain, to smile through the struggle, to pretend we’re fine when we’re anything but. But behind closed doors, so many are fighting invisible battles—feeling isolated, ashamed, or afraid to speak up.

It’s time we change that. Talking about mental health isn’t a weakness; it’s an act of courage. Every honest conversation chips away at the stigma. Every story shared becomes a lifeline for someone else. We don’t heal by hiding—we heal by being seen, heard, and understood.

So let’s be the ones who break the silence. Let’s remind each other that it’s okay to not be okay—and that no one has to face it alone.

I am walking 63km for all of our loved ones we’ve lost to suicide, and for those who are still fighting silent battles every day. For our family. For our friends. For MY BROTHER…..

This walk is for the ones who didn’t get the chance to speak their pain, and for those who still carry it quietly. It’s for the memories, the moments we wish we could have back, and the hope that no one else has to walk that road alone.

Every step is a tribute. Every kilometre is a promise—to keep talking, to keep listening, to keep showing up for each other. Because mental health should never be a taboo. Because love doesn’t end when someone’s gone. Because we can be the change.

I'm walking to remember those lost to suicide and help people in crisis

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by suicide.

Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year.

Suicide has devastating impact on friends and loved ones.

For World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to suicide every day.

I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide suicide prevention services and support for Australians in need.

Please support my walk and sponsor me to help those in crisis.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

My impact so far

I've raised $703 so far to answer 18 calls for Lifeline's crisis support hotline to connect and bring hope to people in crisis.

With your support, we can ensure that no person has to face their darkest moments alone.
